CMA Executive are exclusively partnering an exciting high growth drinks brand, who always use high quality natural flavours and want to do business the right way, in their search for a dynamic Finance & Operations Director to assist the business with its development and expansion goals.
Entrepreneurial and innovative, backed by a range of angel investors, they have plans to achieve significant growth over the next few years by expanding the brand in the UK & Internationally.
As part of the growth strategy the business is now seeking a highly motivated Finance & Operations Director, who will initially support and then replace a Fractional CFO and play a critical role as part of the management team.
Reporting to the Founders the Finance Director will actively engage in all financial decisions across the business to drive efficiencies and improve operational performance. This is a rare opportunity to join an expanding dynamic company.
What will the Finance & Operations Director role involve?
- You will be responsible for adding structure for the next phase of expansion and enhancing profit margins through strategic financial and operational management.
- Provide strategic insight to assist leadership team with all elements of business planning and offer new strategies to increase efficiencies in the business.
- Cashflow management and forecasting.
- Manage fundraising (with founders), fitting in with Companies strategic plan.
- Ensure Operations is run efficiently, using best practices at all times.
- Keep Operations aligned with business strategies and plans
- Preparation of weekly dashboard, monthly management accounts and monthly/quarterly board packs.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Director vacancy:
- The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly commercial qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) witha background that would encompass experience in the food & beverage sector.
- The role would mostly likely suite an individual keen to step into their first Finance Director position.
- An energetic and collaborative leader with gravitas and an approachable style.
- Being happy to muck in and roll up sleeves as required, you will thrive in a small entrepreneurial and fast paced business and have retained the ability to be hands on and in the detail.
- You will be a proactive commercial business partner with effective influencing skills and a demonstrable track record of adding value.
- Diplomatic with a high level of emotional intelligence you will challenge constructively and strive for continuous improvements.
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Director:
- The role will be fully remote but will require that the candidate travels to central London once a month. (Likely to increase over time).
