Service Engineer

We are currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our Infrastructure Technology clients. The role will be based in Bedfordshire with a salary up to £30,000.
Responsibilities for Service Engineer
- Maintaining and commissioning all equipment to high standards and the customer's specification
- Carry out all routine work in line with contractual conditions.
- To support the service desk in achieving the team objectives.
- Assist in maintaining high working standards of Quality, Health & Safety and Environment.
- Provide training to customers.
- Build customer rapport and promote good customer relations.
- Fault find and provide a first time fix wherever possible.
- Ensure all equipment on site is kept in a safe, tidy condition and that all cables are tied and clearly labeled.
- Wear correct PPE when required.
- Ensure vehicle, tools, spares and equipment to be used is in a safe and useable condition.
- Work sheets and time sheets are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Provide accurate reports to the Support Desk.
- Communicate any sales leads for new sites or equipment enhancements to the service desk.
Requirements for Service Engineer
- Basic electrical and engineering knowledge
- HNC/HND or ONC or equivalent qualifications in electrical engineering
- IT Networking and PC maintenance
- Understanding of parking systems, hardware and software.
- Good working knowledge of PC based networked control systems.
- Full driving licence
- Be prepared to work overtime.
- Occasionally work away from home.
- Previous experience within the parking industry.
- Understanding of CCTV systems and wireless communication systems
