Early Years Educator/ Assistant

Parson's Green Nursery is a small independent family run nursery setting. We are looking for passionate childcare educators to join our family orientated team. Applicants must:
- Wear a warm smile that makes every child feel special and can distribute warm hugs as and when required.
- Being able to sing in tune is not necessary, but the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is 'essential'.
- Getting into character at play time and story time like a true actor/ress.
- Be prepared to get messy and have lots of fun!
- You must be able to laugh at jokes you don't understand, as child humour can be a confusing minefield to navigate.
- Be prepared to be asked lots of questions and interact with children positively in result of this creating lots of little best friends.
- Other must have skills include the ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people and adhere to all health and safety policies.
- Have a passion and enthusiasm for working with little people and their families.
- A caring and nurturing personality being able to work as a team and be a positive role model.
- Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important by many young children and their families. There is simply no other job like this one.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,500.00-£27,500.00 per year depending on experience
