Account Manager

Working for an established, expanding and successful company whose products are highly visible and supplied globally, this is an opportunity for an account manager with experience of supplying engineered products into OEMs and distributors within the UK.

As a highly effective communicator with the ability to engage at all levels, responsibilities will include;

  • Managing key accounts
  • Technical sales and support to clients (end users, OEMs) and distributors
  • Working closely with engineering to ensure products are developed to suit customer requirements
  • Visiting end users to ensure correct initial product specification and tracking projects through to installation

With an engineering background and a proven track record within account management, your strengths will include combining an analytical approach with strong commercial acumen together with a strategic approach to growing the business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must as you will be building relationships at all levels to create success.

Experience of working with highly regulated sectors such as automotive, specialist vehicles, specialist mechanical equipment, oil/gas, aerospace, defence, or similar would be advantageous. You could be based anywhere within the UK as long as you are happy travelling to clients and attending monthly onsite sales meetings.
