I'm absolutely delighted to be supporting a lovely Client of ours, an authentic travel brand with offices in central Bristol. This vacancy would be a strong match for someone who already gained some experience as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Officer or Social Media Coordinator and is looking for the next step in their career or alternatively for someone who is already on a Social Media Manager level looking for their next challenge.

What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will report into the Marketing Manager and they will work as a part of a bigger marketing team supporting them with wider campaigns. In this brand new vacancy, the postholder will manage a range of social media channels with the biggest emphasis on TikTok and Instagram. The purpose of the role is to shape and expand my Client's digital presence ensuring that it always resonates with their target audience. The postholder will work closely with a range of freelancers and content creators however this role will entail editing content when required. Another part of the role will be content planning, scheduling and posting across all channels as well as the community management aspect. Crucially, always keeping a close eye on the reporting side of things and having a mindset of applying "test and learn" approaches where relevant. Last but not least there will be an element of admin in this role such as liaising with external freelancers and coordinating trips.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a consumer industry either in house or for an agency.
  • Proven track record of growing digital audiences.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms especially Instagram and TikTok.
  • Outstanding copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Effortless stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical skills, experience of using GA4.
  • True passion for travel, nature and the outdoors.

What you'll get in return for your experience

A salary of c/ £30-35k DOE, hybrid model and flexi working, employee owned and B Corp certified business, annual credit to use towards accommodation, enhanced and paternity pay, multiple social and wellbeing events. This role can be offered on a four day week basis or compressed hours (0.8 FTE).
