An exciting opportunity to join a growing energy brand as a PR Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract!
This role is critical in shaping and maintaining the public image of the brand, ensuring that all communications are impactful and aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivery of campaigns at key moments that support commercial, policy or brand marketing objectives
- Exploring ways to reach target audiences, such as working with talent or influencers
- Providing an industry-leading press office, answering queries efficiently and quickly, as well as managing the media centre
- Confidently representing the PR team to internal and external stakeholders, including managing spokesperson briefings and arranging high-profile TV and radio interviews
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, organizing press events, and building strong relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to proactively manage the company's public image.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure maximum impact.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a PR management role, ideally within energy
- Strong understanding of media relations
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and and make strategic decisions and last minute judgement calls
