**Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that meet the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop practical skills and knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, and healthy eating.
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
  • Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.

**Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels (KS5 is a plus).
  • Strong subject knowledge of food science, nutrition, and culinary skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passion for education and nurturing student potential.
