Job Title: Marketing/Events Administrator

Salary:

£25,000 per annum

Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Reports to: Head of Marketing and Business Development

We are currently looking for a junior or early graduate Marketing Administrator to join our friendly and busy team based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in marketing and events management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Events Management (50%):

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing company events.

  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders.

  • Manage event logistics including setup, registration, and attendee follow-up.

  • Ensure all events align with company branding and objectives.

  • Marketing Administration (50%):

  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials.

  • Maintain and update the company's social media platforms and website content.

  • Conduct market research and compile data to support marketing strategies.

Experience/Attributes Required

  • Up to one year's marketing experience in a busy team environment.
  • Business-to-business marketing experience would be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of online and traditional marketing techniques.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders within the business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and common sense.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and proactive approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Desire and ability to learn and practice new skills.
  • Willingness to question current practices and search for better ways to carry out tasks.
  • Pride in work and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively.
