Axon Moore are supporting a services sector client in the South Yorkshire region in the search for a Chief Financial Officer.
The business are seeking a talented leader who can work with the owners and the board to continue the business' growth trajectory and seek to grow both organically and via M&A.
Key responsibilities for the role will include;
- Steering the business through growth and assessing the various funding options available
- Working with the C-Suite team to drive an expansion plan
- Ensuring a robust financial controls frameworks are in place and adhered to
- Mentoring the members of the finance function
- Overseeing other back office functions of the business
- Ensuring the board have the necessary insight to make sound business decisions
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills and experience
- Qualified finance leader with experience as an FD/CFO within an SME
- A track record of helping a business achieve growth and expansion
- Able to manage a range of external stakeholders, skilfully and diplomatically ensuring all interests are met and the business the business has key relationships in place to enable growth
- Possessing gravitas and influencing ability to drive and affect change
