Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a successful engineering and manufacturing business with a global customer base, in the recruitment of a global sales coordinator to work from their County Durham site.
Role
Reporting into the Global sales director, the role will support 4 account managers in a busy sales environment to ensure excellent service levels are provided to the global customer base. Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Providing sales coordination support and day to day contact to allocated customers.
- Supporting and coordinating the global sales team, working closely with each of the account managers, inputting customer orders, forecasts, preparing data for account managers on a monthly basis for each of the accounts.
- The role will also work closely with global sales director, providing data and commercial information, whilst also providing admin support for areas such as arranging travel and diary management.
- Collate, maintain & distribute global reporting documents to a high standard of accuracy and in line with the corporate business calendar
- Tracking commercial issues and claims management.
Experience
- The approach of the candidate will be key to success in this role, must be extremely proactive.
- Must be highly organised and able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a calm, effective and efficient manner.
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally at all levels with an ability to build long term relationships.
- Previous experience in a sales support /coordination role ideally within the manufacturing /engineering sector is desirable.
- Competent and confident in managing data
- Proficient using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Office.
- Understand that working with global customers there may be the need to sometimes be flexible around working hours to meet business needs.
