- Working Hours: Monday 10:00 am - 14:00 pm (4 hours), Tuesday to Friday 10:30 am - 14:00 pm (3.5 hours each day)

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our happy and hardworking team at a vibrant educational setting. Our catering team is committed to providing 1,000 pupils daily with affordable, healthy, nutritious, and delicious food, all cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals for early and late breaks, as well as early and late lunches.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain high standards of food quality.
- Help to ensure that the food offered to the pupils is of the highest standard in terms of nutrition, presentation, and taste.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Engage with pupils and staff in a positive manner, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A passion for food and cooking.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team to produce high-quality food.
- Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles among young people.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
