Key Responsibilities of Assistant Merchandise Planner:
- Work closely with the Merchandising team to pull planning reports and analyse data
- Analyse store performance and customer requests, demonstrating findings and ensuring all factors are evaluated to get the most accurate report
- Assist in the management of events or the release of new ranges
- Support internal teams with product selection and make recommendations based off real data
- Regularly review trading reports to spot potential risks and opportunities
- Look to improve reporting process' and efficiency
To be successful in this Assistant Merchandise Planner role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical with strong numerical abilities
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive profit growth
