Job Description
Quantum Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for a primary school in Reading. This long-term supply role starts in September 2024 and continues through to July 2025. The contract will be through Quantum Scholars. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and committed to creating a positive learning environment for Year 4 students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 4 students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to enhance the academic and social development of students.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behaviour.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching primary school students, preferably in Year 4 (ages 8-9).
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK

- Experience with inclusive education practices and differentiation.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Proven track record of contributing to school improvement and student success.
