Axon Moore are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic organisation based in the city centre who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team.
The organisation are a fast paced, entrepreneurial e-commerce/ retailer who are disrupting a saturated market, offering a unique and alternative product to a niche audience. The role will responsible for month end, but the real focus will come through partnering across all facets of finance and with senior stakeholders across the business, providing integral commercial insight into business performance.
Ideal candidates will be those who have a background in Management Accounting, and have begun adding commercial responsibilities to their CV. It is vital that the successful applicant has a strong desire to partner with the varying stakeholders in the business.
Salary: £45,000-£50,000

Location: Central Manchester
Main Duties:
- Support with posting financial journals to ensure daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports are complete according to agreed timescales.
- Monthly review of variance analysis against forecast.
- Business partner with multiple divisional leads.
- Providing input into overhead forecasting, understanding cost drivers.
- Review and produce short term cash forecasting.
- Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations.
- Provide division leads timely and accurate information to support the running of the business.
- KPI reporting.
- Assisting with process improvements in finance department and across the business.
- Assist in the development of financial controls.
- Drive financial control standards among non-Finance teams.
- Deputise for the Financial Controller when necessary.
Person Specification:
- ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skill set
- Excellent communicator with the ability to disseminate financial information to none financial stakeholders.
