Assistant Accountant | Financial Services Firm | £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata | 2 month FTC | London and 5 Days in Office

We are working with a fast-growing liquidity provider whom an investment banking powerhouse has recently acquired. They are looking for an immediate Assistant Accountant to join their team on an initial 2-month FTC. There is potential for this role to transition into a permanent hire if the successful candidate succeeds in their position.

Your Role

  • Producing management accounts
  • Processing accounts payable invoicing for c100 invoices a month. Responsible for manual payment runs and uploading to RBS.
  • Processing accounts receivable
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals
  • Preparing year-end audit schedules

Your Skill

  • Experience working in a similar role within an SME, in any industry
  • Practice background preparing accounts for small businesses is desirable
  • Well-organised with good attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members
  • Excellent Excel skills and desirable to have Agresso skills.
