Role & Responsibilities (Maintenance Deputy Shift Maintenance)
- To support the shift manager in leading the shift team
- To maintain, repair and support the equipment
- To undertake scheduled repairs according to the manufacturer's recommendations
- Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults
- Prioritise system faults
- To accurately record all work undertaken
- Continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
- Ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
- Adherence to the Quality processes and procedures
Qualifications (Maintenance Deputy Shift Maintenance)
- ONC OR HNC or HND in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering OR BTEC Engineering or Engineering Apprenticeship or Bsc or Msc)
- Experience in previously managing a team (desirable)
- A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
- Basic knowledge of PLC equipment
