Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager in the Shipper Management Team to work closely with our shippers to prospect, scope and lead the delivery of initiatives aiming to improve shipper experience and enhance operational synergies with our shippers. You will be a natural self-starter who is able to translate the long-term vision for Amazon Shipping into a strategic and tactical action plans for the business and multiple middle and last mile EU Ops teams. Key job responsibilities- Act as a strategic advocate and influencer, collaborating closely with shippers, cross-functional partner teams and key stakeholders.- Improve critical operational metrics by designing and implementing new processes and partnerships with the Business, Product, and Operations teams.- Develop structural plans and routines to ensure all strategic and tactical initiatives are delivered on schedule and to the expected standards.A day in the lifeThis is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business that is growing at an incredible pace. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree - Relevant experience in the shipping/logistics industry, particularly with shipping service providers or global freight forwarding- Relevant experience of communicating and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership- Experience establishing repeatable processes and driving automation/standardization initiatives- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
