Payments Operations Manager
Sterling Williams are working closely with a Cross Border Payments institution who are looking to hire a permanent Payment Operations Manager to join their growing business in London.
Salary dependent on experience, but circa £70 - 80,000 pa plus benefits.
This role will require candidates to be in the office 3 days per week, with 2 days from home.
The Payments Operations Manager will report directly to the COO and provide experienced support for the day-to-day operations with a proven ability to work autonomously, or with team's members around the world, and will (in due course) be responsible for a small team.
Day to day duties is varied, but may consist of the following, amongst others:
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy across all balances
- Identifying, investigating and resolving client account discrepancies
- Setup, reviewing and continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Dealing with payment queries and investigations
- Participation in ongoing projects around development of systems
- Liaising with 3rd party providers
- Use strong problem solving skills and a deep understanding of our systems to resolve queries with our customers in mind
The successful candidate will have experience within Payments and be comfortable with being responsible for dealing with Chargebacks and Disputes.
You will have appropriate industry experience within the Payments/FinTech industry, Banking, or Card Providers (E-Money, Prepaid, Credit/Debit etc).
