Job Title: Bookkeeper
Salary: Up to £30,000 pa
Hours: Full time
Location: Ipswich, Colchester, or Bury St Edmunds

Main areas of responsibility:
- Undertake all aspects of bookkeeping
- Working with clients on site or remotely
- Talking and visiting clients to set up and maintain book-keeping records and quarterly VAT returns
- Provide support to clients when required
- Maintaining financial records
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records and reports
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency
- Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic records
Required Skills & Desired Experience:
- Experienced with VAT returns
- Competent with relevant accounting systems including Xero Dext Prepare
- Experience within a similar role
- Keen eye for details
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and able to appropriately prioritise
