About the role:

I'm working on behalf of an outstanding school that works with pupils who require intervention and additional support in managing their behaviour, or when they are persistently unable to attend their mainstream school placement. This can often be at a point of personal crisis or where their underlying needs haven't yet been identified. You'll be able to directly assist these pupils be able to reach their potential, that may not have been realised in other mainstream schools. The school prides itself on maintaining their values that are fundamental to how they aim to improve and progress all its pupils.

Your role will include:

The school is looking for motivated, positive and enthusiastic educators, with a passion for developing pupils. The school itself allows the teacher to express their own inginuity through their lessons, whether this is via outdoor learning, learning through play or other creative methods. Through this position you will be expected to:

  • Utilise existing planning resources while injecting your creativity and expertise.
  • Being compassionate and resilient in nature.
  • Teaching students with SEND/SEMH in specialist classes or groups
  • Teaching in a range of environments tailored to each pupil
  • Working 1-1 with pupils who require additional support
  • Liaising with teachers/SENCO/Year Leaders
