Day to Day Duties
- Create detailed product designs and models using AutoCAD Inventor.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure design specifications align with manufacturing capabilities.
- Develop and update design specifications, maintaining tight tolerances to meet industry standards.
- Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting design-related production issues.
- Ensure all designs adhere to quality and sustainability standards, utilizing recycled materials wherever possible.
- Participate in regular reviews to optimize design efficiency and product performance.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor with a proven portfolio of technical designs.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality control in production.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt designs based on production feedback.
- Effective communication skills for collaborative work across design and production teams.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precise design documentation.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with aluminium or other metal materials.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and use of recycled materials.
- Previous experience in high-standards manufacturing environments.
