We are seeking a QHSE Manager to lead our Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulations and driving a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring our operations are sustainable and prioritising the wellbeing of our workforce.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Lead quality audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure processes meet quality and efficiency standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Manage Health & Safety policies in compliance with HSENI and safety regulations.
  • Perform safety inspections and audits, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety training programs.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and develop corrective action plans.
  • Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and other environmental standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact with regulatory bodies for QHSE matters.
  • Promote a strong QHSE culture and engage staff in related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in Quality Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in using software tools for quality management and safety compliance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial, manufacturing, or service-based environment.
  • Experience in leading audits and implementing QMS and H&S policies.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and organisational skills.
