My clients are looking to hire a Financial Accountant for a period of 6 months to support with an implementation project, it has potential for the right individual to go perm. The role is paying up to £50k FTE.
The company
Forward thinking retail business that have been operating for over 30 years. Growing on a yearly basis roughly 10-15%. They have 50 employees and are fully office based. They believe in a strong office culture and team environment.
The Role
- Supporting a team of 3 accounts assistants along with the Financial Controller
- Leading a system implementation project across Finance and Operations
- Prepare and analyse monthly revenue and cost reports
- Preparation of VAT, CIS and PAYE Returns
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasting
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requirements
- Ad-hoc duties as expected in a financial accountant role
The Candidate
- Qualified (ACCA,CA), QBE or PQ
- Preferably been involved in a system implementation (Isn't essential)
- A driven individual that showcases strong accounting practices
- Tech Savvy and is able to adapt and take on information
- A strong team player, that likes to get stuck in to a challenge
