Day to day of the role:
- Plan and teach engaging Science lessons across Physics, Biology, and Chemistry to secondary or post-16 students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and interest in the sciences.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student engagement and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's science curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in teaching Science, particularly in Physics, Biology, and/or Chemistry.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching science.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning environment.
