Our client is seeking a seasoned Management Accountant to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. As a vital member of the finance department, you will play a key role in driving financial accuracy, efficiency, and integrity.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Data Detective: Dive deep into GL Accounts, mappings, and voluminous data to uncover insights and anomalies.
- Reconciliation Maestro: Craft accurate reconciliation files and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Report Wizard: Design, validate, and integrate reports into daily operations with finesse.
- Problem Solver Extraordinaire: Develop innovative solutions and workarounds to address challenges head-on.
- Collaborative Liaison: Work closely with other departments to swiftly resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Data Whisperer: Cleanse and analyze reconciliation items, leaving no stone unturned.
Requirements:
- Accounting Ace: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with a knack for numbers.
- Tech Savvy: Prior experience with ALFA, Odessa, or Exact is a definite plus.
- Industry Insight: Background in Leasing, Asset Finance, or Banking preferred.
- Change Champion: Proficient in IT change management from a finance perspective.· Excel Guru: Master of Microsoft Excel, wielding Pivot tables and Vlookup functions like a pro.
- FRS9 Familiar: Knowledge of FRS9 is advantageous.
- Curious Mindset: Inquisitive nature with a passion for problem-solving.
