Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our team in Northampton, supporting our shared user site. As a HR advisor you will provide a comprehensive administrative function to the site while advising and providing guidance to the management team on HR practises.
This position is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday, with being mainly an on-site based role.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £37,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- Provide quality advice and consultancy support to line managers on employee relations, including managing discipline, grievance matters and end to end support of the absence management process
- Support the immediate and long-term needs of the site whilst delivering the HR Strategy and the site's people plan
- Manage the full range of HR activities within the employee lifecycle (new starter process, current employment to termination of employment)
- Ensure that company standards and policies & procedures are effective and are implemented on a consisted basis across the site
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally with CIPD qualifications
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would really help you in this role – no two days will be the same and you will need the ability to think on your feet
