Job Purpose
- Support a varied tax portfolio consisting mainly of SME clients, providing excellent compliance, advisory and planning services
- Review financial documents, including tax returns and computations, to ensure the highest level of accuracy
- Provide support to Senior Managers and Directors on varied case work, developing your skills alongside them
- Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements
- Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
- Nurture meaningful relationships with clients, ensure deadlines and budgets are met
- Mentor and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
- Champion your own professional development by undertaking learning opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
- CTA or ATT qualified or currently studying
- Recent advisory and compliance experience in practice environment
- Good technical tax knowledge
- Excellent communicator both on paper and in person
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well organised and confident managing own workload
- Good at working under pressure
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
- Keen to progress within the firm
