Project Estimator Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 4NA – Office based

  • £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience

About the Role

This role is primarily office-based but will include face-to-face meetings and site surveys. You will collaborate closely with account managers to focus on delivering winning designs and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient responses to enquiries
  • Arrange and conduct survey appointments
  • Create proposals with a full appreciation of customer requests, using techniques like video presentations
  • Assist in presenting proposals to clients virtually or over the phone
  • Efficiently hand over client instructions to the Service and Projects Delivery teams
  • Provide quotations for small works projects and remedial works
  • Produce estimates and documented quotations
  • Complete detailed and accurate designs & quotations for new enquiries
  • Create system designs following British Standard and Industry Design Guidelines
  • Coordinate and attend site surveys
  • Ensure CRM and pipeline are kept up to date
  • Follow up quotations and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts

Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically inclined, who thrives in a collaborative environment.
You should also have experience:

  • Surveying and designing Fire, Security, Access and Call Systems and associated products and services.
  • Training and understanding of pertinent British Standards and codes of practice.
  • Proficiency in use of CAD design an advantage.
  • Maintaining/installing/commissioning systems (advantageous)
