Role responsibilities:
Commercial:
- Maintaining Cost details of finished products and supporting sales pricing activity
- Support the business to evaluate new opportunities through clear, concise data analysis
- Analyse financial/sales data to support decision-making on a sales and cost level
- Putting together Sales forecasts
- Maintain summary of Customer contracts to ensure all important terms and conditions and revisions are reflected on to invoices / credit
Accounts Receivable:
- Overseeing Accounts Receivables
- Running credit risk checks and maintaining credit limits for customers
- Customer account reconciliations
- Proactively reduce aged debt and highlight accounts that require review
Banking:
- Monthly bank reconciliations including credit card collections and direct debits
- Timely reporting for month end ensuring all receipts and allocations is up to date
- Assisting with the yearly external audit
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial accounting role
- Experience using Oracle Cloud accounting system is desirable
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong customer service approach
