An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and knowledgeable BD & Marketing Executive to join the supportive Business Development team of a London based, specialist law firm to support their highly regarded Private Wealth & Employment partners and fee earners with their BD and marketing efforts.
This role sits within a team of three that directly support Private Wealth and Employment, which includes a Senior BD and Marketing Manager and Assistant. You will focus on the Private Client, Family, Contentious Trusts and Estates and Employment and Partnerships teams, with the opportunity to take ownership of cross-practice BD groups focused on specific jurisdictions and specialisms such as Art and Cultural Property. The successful applicant will be working within an exciting and fast paced environment, directly supporting Partners and fee earners with the full breadth of BD and marketing activity. You will report to and be mentored by the Private Wealth & Employment Senior BD & Marketing Manager but there will be a high level of autonomy in the role. You will enjoy a broad role assisting in the overall design, development and implementation of the strategic plan and budgets for the Private Wealth and Employment practices, coordinating pitches and new business opportunities and supporting fee earners in the development and implementation of their personal BD plans. On the marketing side, the BD & Marketing Executive will work directly with the team to raise their profile, assisting and developing multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing internal and external communications and taking responsibility for award and directory submissions.
You must have proven business development and marketing experience gained within a professional services firm, ideally a law firm. An energetic, self-motivated team player, the ideal candidate will have excellent IT, organisational and communication skills and be both accurate and thorough. The BD & Marketing Executive will also possess the ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure and the confidence to interact with people at all levels of the firm to build productive relationships. Previous Private Wealth or Employment experience will be essential.
