Up to £60,000 + attractive bonus and benefits

The Company:

Your new employer is a successful, independent and medium-sized Lloyd's Wholesale Broker who have been established for over 20 years.

With offices both in the heart of the city and internationally, they now have an incredible opportunity for a Property and Casualty Account Manager to join their fast paced team, where you will manage some of your administrative colleagues coupled with handling renewals of Property and Liability Risks. This is a perfect opportunity for a Wholesale Account Handler or Broker Support, who is competent in creating MRC Slips for Property and Casualty Risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the Brokers with maintaining solid client/retail broker relationships
  • Attending and contributing to Technical Meetings in a professional manner
  • Providing accurate and effective support to the Execs and the Team
  • Assist with the development of new business and the existing portfolio of agents
  • Responsible for preparing/populating MRC Slips with relevant correspondence
  • Prepare MRC Slips and supporting documentation in accordance with templates and MRC requirements using Websure
  • Oversee and approve client documentation
  • Undertake Account Handling duties including liaising and negotiating with Underwriters to place risks

About you:

  • 3 years + experience in Wholesale Property and Casualty / London Market - preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
  • Experience in creating MRC slips
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing situations
  • Proven experience of running a team - preferred but not essential
