- Job Role: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - Assessment
- Band: 6
- Location: Birmingham
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay Rate: £26 per hour
**What Your Day Could Look Like:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you'll play a critical role in supporting mental health patients within their communities.
Here's what you can expect:
- Home Visits: Conduct regular check-ins with patients to ensure their needs are met.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications to patients at designated times.
- Patient Interaction: Engage with patients to understand their conditions, offering the support they need and monitoring their progress.
- Risk Assessments: Evaluate potential risks to ensure a safe environment for patients and those around them.
**What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: Active NMC registration as a mental health nurse.
- Experience: Demonstrated community experience.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as needed.
