The role:
Possible start date: 02.12.2024
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Total working hours: 40
What you will do in your working day:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and AV equipment
- Support the technical team in troubleshooting and resolving client issues
- Participate in site surveys to assess and plan for AV and telecommunications installations
- Learn to interpret technical diagrams and specifications
- Aid in the setup and testing of AV systems, including projectors, sound systems and video conferencing equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and update project documentation
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients during installations and follow-up visits
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
The training you will receive:
- Level 3 ICT qualification
- All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
- Functional skills in English & maths if required
Future prospects:
Potential extension of contract on successful completion of apprenticeship
