Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting our long standing client to recruit an Internal Auditor. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in either internal or external audit, looking for a role that offers autonomy and industry leading training and benefits programs. You'll be based out of the Warwick office 2 days per week, with flexible hours and a salary up to £62,000 + bonus.
As the business move to their next phase of growth, the internal audit team are driving efficiencies and improvements across both finance and operations. You'll liaise with both financial and non financial stakeholders, partnering with senior level colleagues to become a best in practice team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development of annual audit risk assessment, working with senior management and the Head of Internal Audit
- Support Lead Auditor in delivering internal audits to excellent standards
- Use your commercial acumen to spot efficiencies and cost savings
- Provide innovative, value add recommendations that resolve the internal audit observations
- Develop an excellent working relationships with senior managers across the business
- Support the Head of Internal Audit
- Own and manage a portfolio of audit actions in progress, and assess the effectiveness of activities undertaken
About You:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/ICAS/ICAEW/ACCA
- Experience working with audit practices and/or control frameworks
- Fantastic report writing skills to ensure smooth completion of audits
