Role: Senior Practitioner
Location: South Lanarkshire
Service: Autism Support
Salary: £33,000 - £36,500

Reporting to the Services Manager, this role is to support practitioner teams to deliver high quality support to autistic individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and develop both autism services and team practitioners to deliver the highest quality of support in line with Care Inspectorate and SSSC
  • Ensure a supported care environment, meeting each individuals care needs and health and social care standards.
  • Staff management - ensure staff are trained to be able to achieve short term and long term objectives, rotas, support with disciplinaries where necessary, identify areas for improvement and contribute in 1:1 meetings
  • Provide on call support
  • Financial management and budget monitoring
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Carry out audits

Requirements/Experience

  • SVQ4 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) and Leadership and Management certificate
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of autism
  • Experience in management or a team leader role
  • Rota management
  • IT skills
