Job Role

Are you passionate about cooking? Do you have an interest in Healthy eating? Do you feel confident sharing your skills with small groups in the community? Do you have a passion to help and make a difference to people's lives? Full Training will be given.

As a Healthy Lifestyles Project Officer, you will work within a small team to deliver a range of health and wellbeing projects, including our award winning healthy eating and cooking projects.

You must be confident, with excellent interpersonal skills. You must be comfortable with working out in the community, travelling between local locations in Sandwell and managing your own workload. Full Training will be given. Recent Graduates welcome.

The role will involve:

  • Delivering 2 hour long cooking sessions to groups of people in the community
  • To provide healthy eating advice and guidance
  • To promote upcoming courses within the local community and recruit participants to the sessions
  • Collate case studies and good news stories
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to funder requirements
  • To have the ability to lift and carry shopping bags and cooking equipment
