**Overview
A temporary role has become available within a Manufacturing company, based in Dudley for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This role here is going to be covering sick leave, the person has gone off on leave for surgery which has an extended recovery and as a result we are needing someone for a 3-month temp role. This position here is ideally looking for experience so if you have worked within purchase ledger or sales ledger before that would be amazing, the business is looking for a minimum of 12 months experience.
This role here will be covering both purchase ledger and sales ledger with a range of tasks, the key priority is to avoid a backlog forming, so you will be processing invoices, raising invoices, conducting a variety of reconciliations and managing the inbox to answer finance queries. This sick cover has come as a bit of a surprise so ideally they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so please only apply if you are on a short one week notice or less!
**Skills required
- Previous experience within finance such as purchase ledger and sales ledger - at least 12 months.
- Confident when using Microsoft excel, as this role will have a few tasks that require excel skills.
- Be immediately available or on a short one week notice period.
- Be able to hit ground running as the key thing here is bringing someone in who will be able to pick things up quickly to avoid a backlog forming.
