I am currently working with an established manufacturing business in Rossendale, who are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant, expanding their finance team following continued innovation and growth.
This role is working with an excellent FC, with opportunities for further personal development and progression.
Package: Salary up to £40,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance & pension
Management Accountant - Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of group reporting pack including FX adjustments
- Complete Balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns including returns in Ireland and Netherlands
- Accruals and prepayments
- Investigating variances against budget
- Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
- Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve these
- Financial support on ad hoc projects
- Providing support to finance team
Management Accountant – Requirements
- Experience gained within a similar Management Accountant role
- Part or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Strong IT skills particularly Excel
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
- Organised and diligent
