AIr Compressor Engineer
Location: AWE Aldermaston (EMCOR UK's Largest Account)
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum + Onsite Allowances (total package £45k+) Overtime available - Mon-Fri = flat rate. Sat/Sun/BHs = x1.5.
Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (1615 finish on Friday) Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work

What you will do:
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works & installations, from minor repairs and servicing to complete air system installation and commissioning.
- Attend to breakdowns in line with client requirements when they occur, this may involve call-out.
- To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop based.
- To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
- To carry out install of new equipment and pipework.
What you will need:
- Must have great communication skills and experience in mechanical and electrical fault-finding work.
- Be prepared to be on call
- Experience of compressed air systems and other mechanical systems is essential
- Air conditioning experience is preferred but not essential
- Control and Instrumentation experience preferential
- You will have current experience of repairing and servicing at least some of the following equipment:
- Reciprocating compressor [piston compressors]
- Screw compressors
- Desiccant dryers
- Refrigerant dryers
- All forms of filtration
- Dryers
- N2 Systems
- Pumps
- Plant machinery
