Day-to-day of the role:
- Managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding client base within the customs and freight sector.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop custom solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitoring account performance, reporting on metrics, and setting goals to drive growth.
- Staying abreast of industry changes and regulations to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customs or freight.
- Previous experience in a commercially focused role.
- Strong understanding of the customs and freight industry, including relevant regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships with clients.
