This industry-leading residential property developer is currently seeking an Associate Director of Financial Control to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Director, this newly created role will be responsible for leading on all things financial accounting, control and capital, whilst also being at the forefront of several of the organisation's upcoming transformation projects.

The key duties of this Associate Director of Financial Control are as follows:

  • Ensure the provision of comprehensive group and individual entity financial statements and other essential reports.
  • Manage the external audit process, ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external parties.
  • Be the financial lead on the establishment of a new community-interest entity, ensuring the smooth integration into the group structure.
  • Play a leading role in the implementation and roll out of a new finance system, being the voice of finance and engaging with stakeholders throughout the whole process.
  • Continuously refine and enforce Financial Accounting policies to align with industry best practices.
  • Monitor the close financial management of the high-value fixed asset register.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and enhancing performance in all areas.
  • Have critical input into several other high-profile projects across the wider organisation.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Achieved their full accountancy qualification and have significant post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working as a Financial Controller (or similar) within a large, complex organisation.
  • Operated within a setting experiencing high levels of change and transformation and led on several of such projects.
  • Clear leadership skills and experience developing high performing teams.

Please note that applicants must live within a commutable distance from their offices in North Hampshire, although opportunities to work from home will be on offer for up to three days per week.
