Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team at a secondary school in the vibrant Southall area of the London Borough of Ealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted interventions and one-to-one support, helping them to reach their full potential.
  • Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan, assess, and monitor students' progress.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, supporting school events, trips, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with secondary school-aged children (preferred but not essential).

A passion for education and helping students succeed.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
