Job Title: Auction Sales Advisor/Valuer
Location: Coventry

We are looking for a new key member of the team, to assist with the day to day running of the department, property appraisals (depending on experience) and to participate and contribute in the growth of the department through
ONLINE and LIVE auctions.

This is a sales role and would suit an individual who has a flair and passion for selling property, speaking to, and guiding clients, with the ability to visit potential sellers and appraise their property/land.

The ideal candidate is someone who has an enthusiasm to learn and develop their existing skills and
knowledge. Full and thorough training will be given to the successful candidate.

Primary Responsibilities

This role is a key part of the Auctions team by taking responsibility for the following duties:

  • General sales duties including phone calls
  • Appraising property and land (depending on experience)
  • Database management
  • Dealing with pre-Auction offers
  • Dealing with Auction enquiries
  • Negotiating post auction sales
  • Answer phone messages
  • Booking viewings
  • Photos and measure ups
  • Adhoc viewings
  • Facebook campaigns
  • Mailchimp campaigns

Skills

  • Property sales experience is essential
  • Must have a full driving licence and own a car
  • Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
  • Be IT literate with experience of using a web-based case management system.
  • Proactive and business minded
  • Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Strong organisational skills – able to prioritise own time and workload
  • Ability to work well on their own and as a team
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate that they can work on their own initiative

without day-to-day supervision and will need organisational and diary skills to be able to
repeat defined activities on a regular basis to communicate with clients and customers

Working Pattern : Monday – Friday 8.45 – 5.30
1 in 3 Saturdays 9.00 – 12.30 (with time off in lieu)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience, plus commission
