Role overview:
Job Purpose:
To design, implement and lead EMCOR UK's Programme Management function which will include the following:
- To design, implement and lead EUK's IT/Technology programme Management Service
- To design, implement and lead EUK's Product development and deployment programme Management Service
- To support the M&T and Business standards Teams where required

To design, implement and lead the Programme Management functionfor EMCOR UK in line with company strategic, operational, financial, and commercial objectives.

To establish, lead and develop the Project Management team to ensure that team members are operating effectively.

To ensure all programmes and projects are delivered on time, to the agreed quality standards, to the agreed budget and that they achieve the benefits they were designed to achieve
To ensure that the completion status (and associated benefits) of all projects and programmes is documented and signed off by the relevant Business Sponsor(s)
- To escalate and manage any risks or issues proactively as per the Risk Management framework
- To design, implement and manage EUK's resource management strategy via the Project Management tool set.
- To ensure that all existing and future projects and programmes are adequately resourced with Project Managers
- To perform the role of the Project Manager where required
- To design, implement and manage an effective LfE process for the service
- To establish and manage Programme reporting relevant to applicable audiences
- To establish solid relationships and networks with business operations and SMEs to aid ability to influence project pace and quality outputs
- To establish EUK's Programme Management tool set with the responsibility of sign off on use, set-up and roll out to the wider Transformation team and beyond. The useability and effectiveness of this toolset should be consistently monitored and improved upon
- To complete any other reasonable request instructed by management
- To be behave consistently in line with EMCOR UK's values
R&Rs specific to IT/Technology Programme Management
- To work in collaboration with the 'Requester' to ensure the design and establishment of project high level scope
- To facilitate the implementation of and compliance to the Gate approval process
- To enable and ensure the effective completion of the 3rd party software approval process
- To design and implement and project prioritisation mechanism
- To enable and ensure the effective completion of the financial investment approval process
- To work in collaboration with the 'Project Owner' to ensure the design of the detailed specification of the project and associated resource requirement
- To work in collaboration with the 'Project Manager' to ensure the design of the project plan
- To be responsible for the build of the resource and cost model for each project
- To design, implement and manage the ongoing reporting and communications process to ensure all stakeholders are fully informed of status and progress
- To work with the Technology Delivery Manager to ensure effective delivery and reporting against programme.
- To monitor any programme deviations to highlight and mitigate any risks and to work with the Approval Board to re-set the programme baseline
- To integrate with the product framework to ensure our product work related activities are planned and resourced alongside other works.
- To understand and work with Information Security to ensure that Information Security considerations are considered at design phase alongside the principles of ISO27001

- Continually enhancing the product programme to ensure effectiveness
