My client is looking for a highly skilled AWS Architect to join their projects team and contribute to our cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of architecture processes.
As AWS Architect you will lead the development of architecture deliverables, produce Architecture Visions and engage in general Solution Architecture (SA) activities. You will be pivotal in ensuring that architectural solutions are effectively delivered to the relevant consuming teams, managing governance, and reviewing Level 3 designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver architectural solutions
- Produce comprehensive Architecture Visions and engage in general SA activities.
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, ensuring clear communication and alignment of architectural goals.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of standard architecture processes, including capability impacts, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and KDD (Key Design Decisions) management, and governance.
- Review and provide feedback on Level 3 (L3) designs to ensure alignment with architectural standards and project requirements.
- Utilise AWS service knowledge, API standards, and data architecture expertise to drive project success.
- Adapt resource allocation based on pipeline readiness to maximise effectiveness.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect, with a strong background in financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of standard architecture processes, including capability impacts, RAID and KDD management, and governance.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services, API standards, and data architecture.
- Experience in producing Architecture Visions and delivering architectural solutions to consuming teams.
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with Account Swap projects or similar large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
