Their platform leverages technologies such as .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework Core, SQL Azure, and Azure DevOps, with a focus on mobile development using Xamarin Forms and MAUI for iOS and Android.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Mobile Developer to join our client's dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying mobile applications using Xamarin Forms or MAUI. This role requires a deep understanding of front-end UI/UX principles and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable, and performant code across both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development: Design, develop, and deploy features for the Xamarin Forms/MAUI (iOS and Android) applications.
  • UI/UX: Ensure the mobile app's front-end design is intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly, with a keen eye for detail in UI/UX.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design, backend, and product teams during the design and planning stages, contributing technical expertise.
  • Communication: Participate in client calls and meetings to provide technical insights and support business account managers during the tender process.
  • Mentorship: Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior developers and non-technical senior management.
  • Agile Methodologies: Work within an Agile development environment to deliver features and improvements iteratively.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Proven commercial experience in mobile development using Xamarin Forms or MAUI.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework Core, SQL Azure, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of the entire platform architecture and proprietary .NET Core data provisioning.
  • UI/UX Design: Strong skills in UI/UX design principles, with a focus on mobile application interfaces
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product.
  • Education: A degree in a computer-related discipline is desirable but not essential if compensated by significant commercial experience.
