Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 Depending on Experience

We are looking for a proactive?Finance and Credit Control Assistant?who will work closely with the Central European finance manager to provide support to the Finance department and the wider business. The role will expose you to many areas of the accounting function, with direct responsibility for maintaining accounts receivable and bank reconciliations for our Central European sales organisation.

As the?Finance Assistant?your main responsibilities will be:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Work on accounts receivable, issue invoices, post receipts and provide debtor reports
  • Prepare daily bank reconciliations
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as and when needed
  • Chase customers for outstanding debt

Skills & Experience

Previous experience working in a finance function although will consider those with a finance degree
Advanced level German

  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Previous SME experience would be an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP systems is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong ability to work within a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
