Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff in delivering high-quality education. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing classroom environment, assist with lesson planning, and provide personalized support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Support individual students and small groups with their learning and development.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
  • Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and school outings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and photocopying.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
