Position: Demand Planner
Location: Southport
Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Salary: £28,000 per annum
As a Demand Planner you will:
- Utilise planning systems to convert sales forecasts into achievable production and material plans and schedules
- Continually liaise with sales, production, supply chain, quality and finance to develop the best strategy
- Review forecast changes and highlight significant changes
- Calculate potential stock at risk and help define strategy to reduce risk
- Help with development of forecasting systems and processes
Skills required:
- Experience and understanding of planning process
- Knowledge and experience of working a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Computer Literacy including experience of ERP systems
