  • Job Type: 5-6 month contract, Full-time
  • Salary: £12.92 per hour PAYE.

We are seeking a dedicated Training Administrator to support our training activities, ensuring efficient administrative, clerical, and financial tasks are performed in line with Department and Force requirements. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate records, managing training systems, and providing excellent service within our organisation.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for administration of designated training activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of training course applications and allocations.
  • Process external training applications and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with the management of learning/training systems, handling access requests and queries.
  • Generate reports from training data and maintain accurate management information.
  • Support training purchases and validate invoices for payment.
  • Address IT issues related to learning/training management systems.
  • Represent the training unit in meetings and maintain effective working relationships with other units.
  • Manage stationery supplies, mailboxes, and prepare resources for courses.
  • Organise attendance and payments for guest speakers and role players.
  • Contribute to the development of best working practices and process streamlining.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educated to QCF Level 2 or equivalent work experience.
  • Administrative experience in a busy office environment.
  • Familiarity with both manual and computerised systems.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Methodical, well-organised with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Computer literacy with proficient keyboard skills.
  • Desirable: ITQ or equivalent IT qualification, and knowledge of police organisation and structure.
  • Ability to contribute to the safety and security of the community.
